Luton Foyer operates its Independent Housing Advice Service to provide free, impartial advice to everyone. Information, advice and support are offered with the following:

- Accessing housing if you are on a low income or in receipt of Housing Benefit
- Your housing options
- Knowing your legal rights
- Understanding local authorites' responsibilities
- Understanding tenants' and landlords’ responsibilities
- Applying for housing related benefits
- Paying your bills and budgeting
- Setting up a new home
- Moving from supported housing to independent living
- Defending a court order or notice to quit
