Luton Foyer operates its Independent Housing Advice Service to provide free, impartial advice to everyone.  Information, advice and support are offered with the following:

  • Accessing housing if you are on a low income or in receipt of Housing Benefit 
  • Your housing options
  • Knowing your legal rights
  • Understanding local authorites' responsibilities
  • Understanding tenants' and landlords’ responsibilities
  • Applying for housing related benefits
  • Paying your bills and budgeting
  • Setting up a new home
  • Moving from supported housing to independent living
  • Defending a court order or notice to quit
