  Open Office

Open Office describes the range of support facilities that are offered free of charge at Luton Foyer to anyone who is looking for accommodation, job searching, applying for benefits or learning to use a computer. 
 
The centre has an IT suite of 9 computers that are available during opening hours.  There are no specific time slots and use is unlimited (unless other clients are waiting).
 
Other office services are:
  • Printing – up to 10 copies per day of CVs
  • Photocopying of important documents
  • Fax facilities
  • Telephone calls from 09.15 to 10.00 Tuesday to Friday
  • All the local newspapers
  • Use of the Foyer address for mail for anyone who has no permanent address
  • Envelopes and stamps to apply for jobs
  • Payment for Birth Certificates for those with no ID
These are all available on a drop in basis when the centre is open.  All registered clients may access these to support their house or job search, benefit claims or develop their computer skills.  These services are not available for personal use.
